TorontoLawyer.ca – April 27, 2011 – TBR results overview

Rigister.ca satisfied one of the lawyers from Toronto with their first pick of TorontoLawyer.ca. Pool.com had the second pick with IRM.ca, and FastWebServer came third with CanadianMortgageRates.ca.

This week Pool.com had particularly strong showing with mentioned above IRM.ca (2), and Phrases.ca (4), Benefactor.ca (7), MapleRidgeRealEstate.ca (14), Curlers.ca (15), FEZ.ca (17).  The same can be said about eGate with 6 domains in the first 20: CruiseHolidays.ca (10), BankingNews.ca (11), MPN.ca (12), Sufficiency.ca (16), HotelSuite.ca (18), and Stolen.ca (19). Sibername had a decent performance with WeList.ca (5), Patterson.ca (6), and Proctology.ca (9).

Jacuzzi.ca – April 13, 2011 – TBR results overview

It took me some time to figure out who caught the best domain name at the drop. Jacuzzi.ca took the first spot in the charts on April 13th, and it was registered by Fresh Grape Solutions Inc. Domain name FreshGrape.ca redirects to eGate site, so I assume eGate Networks won the race this week by registering arguably the most valuable of the names. Second spot was taken by Pool.com (GGE.ca), and Mode.ca went third, and was acquired by Sibername.com.

Sibername caught two more domain names at the top 20 – RID.ca (4) and LSI.ca (5). 10dollar.ca/FastWebServer registered another valuable domain name – Belt.ca (7). One of the names I really liked was PublicOpinion.ca (17) and it was picked up by MyID.ca. At the end of the day 237 domain names were registered during the TBR run this week. Once more time I want to mention how awesome MyID.ca is. This company registered 75 domain names during the session, and it accounts for almost 32% of all the domains registered!

Webinars.ca – March 30, 2011 – TBR session results overview

Sibername.com does it again this week with the first pick of Webinars.ca! Webinar is one of the new “Internet/Web” words that came recently into the dictionary, and it is short for web-based seminar. Webinars.ca went for $1.490+tax the next day at Sibername auctions. As usual Sibername had a very good performance with Tariffs.ca (2), GotRain.ca (5), DailyPlanner.ca (6), and Spinning.ca (7).

FastWebServer.ca/10dollar.ca was one of the best performers last week when company acquired two of the best domain names during the TBR session: Mayonnaise.ca (2) and Breeders.ca (3). That was last week. This time, again, FastWebServer.com was fast enough to catch Offshore.ca (2), and CosmeticDentist.ca (4).

March 23, 2011 – TBR session results overview

For the second week in a row we could see what would happen if Pool.com ceased to exist. Pool.com didn’t participate in a TBR run again, and their main competitor – Sibername, dominated the charts again by registering 66 domain names out of the 238 that dropped that day . Sibername had great results last week by registering first all 10 domains that dropped. They couldn’t repeat the same this week, and they gave up first three spots to other companies.  The first spot was taken by BareMetal.com with HomeGuide.ca, FastWebServer took the second and third positions with Mayonnaise.ca and Breeders.ca. As I mentioned previously Sibername registered 66 domain names during the TBR run, and two of these were LN domains: S2.ca, and G3.ca. The third LN domain name – N8.ca, was registered by BusinessSolutions.ca. We discussed during last few weeks how good the performance of Sibername was, but I wanted to mention today one of the registrars that often overlooked and not mentioned. This registrar is MyID.ca. This company registers big numbers of decent domain names for their customers week after week. For instance during this week’s TBR run MyID registered 57 domain names, and with Sibername together they registered 123 domain names, which is a whopping 51%!
